I wanted to create soaps and cleaning products that were gentle, effective, and made right here in the city, without all the junk.

It started as a side project and has slowly grown from there. I began paying more attention to what I was using at home, and where it came from. Then came the experimenting, tweaking, and eventually making products I actually wanted on my own counters.

The Neighbourhood Soap Company is inspired by Toronto, the city I’ve called home for over two decades. Each scent is named after a street, reflecting the neighbourhoods we live in: familiar, full of character, and occasionally a little strange.

Everything is made in small batches with biodegradable ingredients, and packaged in refillable bottles. Made to be used, reused, and part of everyday life.

Thoughtfully made products, good ingredients, and a bit of Toronto personality, from my house to yours.
