MINT, SHEA & CLAY SOAP BAR

In the 1860s, John Greenwood ran a tavern at Queen and Greenwood. When he was accused of running a “disorderly house” for selling liquor on Sundays, he responded by renaming it The Puritan and hanging a sign of a cat in a noose. Subtlety was not exactly his strong point.

Greenwood always had a rebellious streak.

French green clay gives this bar its natural green colour and a smooth, mineral feel, while peppermint and spearmint deliver a cool, no-nonsense punch.
